I'm a PC gamer...this one is on consoles too I believe.

So Webby says it's time to shut the ol site down, I say - That ain't happening until we exhaust this thread's subject matter

I'll start....anyone heard of this or playing it? Without a doubt, one of the best games for depth and longevity/re-playability I've ever seen.

I'm on my second guy now....I played 140 hours with my first guy and explored about half of the world.Ended when my guy was level 38.

It's software like this that I don't mind paying for.I got my copy on about November 15th and still look forward to booting the game up every night.

Like Oblivion, Skyrim has/will have tons of mods from the fan community.I'm not really a fan of modding the hell out of a game to the point where you're cheating....I do like mods that help the graphics or interface.

I'm using an interface mod called QD inventory which is easy to install and it organizes your menus into categories.Something that is sorely needed for this game unfortunately.Otherwise, you get a vertical list of all items and have to scroll for hours to find shit

I also use a mod to enhance the night sky and stars...give it a colored tinge.

The cool thing about Skyrim's game engine is that it uses a neat technology to generate quests, rather than have a set list of 5 quests that always happen the same way, in the same order.

It's called the Radiant Quest system and on my second time through I'm finding it adapts to what I've done and adjusts accordingly.

Companions/followers...

Another really cool part of the game is the ability to have a companion.Quite a few varied companions are available. These people fight for you, carry any extra crap you give them and also do small tasks. You can give them any weapons and armor you see fit to use.

Currently I'm trying to get my elven follower Faendal to give me a blowjob

Would you like a screenshot or the settings tab? :D

I don't think I know what kind of image hosts Webb allows here

I'll give it a shot with Imgur, please don't ban me....

Ok here's a boring screen...I'm into textures. This is pretty tame for Skyrim considering day turns to night and weather changes constantly. This is my chick follower from the first Skyrim game...

Same pose with a pretty realistic rendition of night time darkness

Here's my current pc settings and it runs like butter, both indoors and out.

I have an i5 2500k processor
GTX 460 vidcard
8 gigs of system ram
and my case has a cool blue light on the front behind the fan

Skyrim supposedly uses more processor power and multi cores than past games, it doesn't just draw on the vidcard.

I live in a northern climate, at the foothills of some huge mountains.Skyrim's weather and terrain mimic a lot of areas I grew up in and have been to  From snow to fog to rain to mist...the atmosphere the game generates at times is amazing. You walk for miles without any cutscenes or loading screens...and time passes.

This is kind of a crappy screen at night.I live in my follower's house, come outside and find a dragon perched on our roof

Fighting dragons at night is one of the best gaming experiences I've had.The ground literally shakes when they fly by or land on houses or the ground.
